Paris Hilton has debunked rumors she’s dating George Clooney – insisting the pair is just good friends.

The unlikely duo were romantically linked in November last year after Paris split from her Good Charlotte rocker beau Benji Madden

And while Hilton admits she did dine with the Ocean’s 11 star, she insists the relationship is strictly platonic – and hinted that she still holds a torch for Madden.

Speaking about her date with George, Paris tells Hollyscoop.com, “[Yes, but] it was just a group of friends. I am very single.

“Benji is one of my best friends and the sweetest guy I ever dated in my life. I really grew when I was with him. He made me really happy. Showed me what real, real friendship is.
