Kate Winslet always brings her work home, according to the actress’ director husband Sam Mendes.

The couple – who have been married for six years – teamed up for new movie Revolutionary Road, which won Winslet her Golden Globe.

And Sam says his sexy spouse was so dedicated to her role as April Wheeler in the drama, she would constantly discuss her scenes when the couple were alone together.

He tells W magazine, “I would open my eyes in the morning and there Kate would be, going, ‘Great! You’re awake! Now let’s talk about the second scene.’

“She loves to bring home work. She wants to talk about literally every full stop and comma, and so I realized that for 24 hours a day I had to basically treat her like my leading actress.”

However, Sam said his main concern with working with his wife was how their relationship would affect his leading man, Leonardo DiCaprio – who previously starred alongside Kate in 1997 blockbuster Titanic.

He adds, “Leo was in the most difficult position because he was trying to be married to the director’s wife, and I didn’t want him feeling there was pillow talk between Kate and me about what he was doing.”
