Jennifer Aniston admits it can be hard reading about herself in magazines – because everything she does in her private life is subject to speculation.

The former Friends star – who is rumored to have ended her relationship with singer John Mayer – says she’d sometimes like a little privacy.

She tells Britain’s More! magazine, “I’m a private person and even tough I have enjoyed a lot of success, I still feel I have a right to some basic privacy.

“So sometimes it’s very hard to read lots of ridiculous stories printed about you. I try not to pay attention but it’s not easy being in a relationship when it seems like every moment is subject to speculation.

“I’m grateful that the public cares about me and feels a bond with me. Friends created this feeling that an audience shares with you through your character and in a way that’s very different from the larger-than-life impressions that comes with actors who are famous for being in movies.

“I’ve had a lot of nice conversations with people who loved Friends. That will always be a special thing. I feel the public want me to be happy and that’s nice.”
