Angelina Jolie is blaming partner Brad Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston for her failiure to scoop any awards recently, it has been claimed.

Jolie, 33, earlier this month went up against Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married); Meryl Streep, (Doubt); Kristin Scott Thomas (I’ve Loved You So Long); and Kate Winslet (Revolutionary Road) in Golden Globe’s Best Actress category for her role in Changeling.

But Jolie lost out to Winslet – and she blames Aniston’s recent “un-cool” criticism on the snub.

A source tells Britain’s Now magazine, “Angie is gutted.

“She feels that Jen’s interview had a part to play in her losing out. Critics lauded Angelina’s performance in Changeling as phenomenal and there’s been lots of Oscar buzz, but now she doesn’t think she stands a chance.

“The judges are notoriously moralistic and they’ll think nothing of ensuring that a worthy candidate misses out if they’ve been embroiled in any scandal.

“Jen’s interview slating Ange certainly won’t have gone unnoticed.”

Jolie is also said to be furious at Aniston’s recent box office success with her puppy love movie Marley & Me, which also stars Owen Wilson.

The source added, “The stark contrast of Jen doing well when Angelina is having a hard time is bound to sting.

“As if that wasn’t enough, when Kate Winslet won her Golden Globe she mentioned all the other actresses in her category, but forgot Angelina’s name. Ange’s face was a picture.”

Jolie has landed a Best Actress Oscar nod for her role in Changeling. She’s up against Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married); Meryl Streep, (Doubt); Kate Winslet (The Reader); and Melissa Leo (Frozen River).
