Applegate: ‘The Pussycat Dolls Were Formed in my Garage’

Christina Applegate has a new claim to fame – the original Pussycat Dolls were created in her garage.
The Employee of the Month star shared a house with choreographer Robin Antin when she was putting together the saucy revue show years before the pop group was formed.
Applegate, 37, was one of the founding members of PCD, which debuted at the Viper Room on Sunset Strip, Los Angeles in 1995. The star emceed for the group when they moved to The Roxy in 2002.
Applegate explains, “We had a dance studio at my house and Robin Antin was my roommate.
“I was in it for 10 years, on and off.
“I was one of the first people… I’m a veteran… We had sewn-together costumes and we had to dance on this little carpet stage.”
