Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced Thursday that she is pregnant with her third child.
“We are thankful for such great news and will begin planning our zone defense strategy immediately,” she said on this morning’s The View.
Elisabeth – who is married to Tim Hasselbeck of the Seattle Seahawks – is also mom to 15-month-old Taylor Thomas and 3-year-old Grace Elisabeth.
Hasselbeck admitted the pregnancy came as a surprise. “This time… we were shocked that we got pregnant,” she said. “But the first two times, it was difficult for me to get pregnant.”
“We were thoroughly happy with the surprise of it,” she added. “I didn’t even know for two months – I was walking around – I thought I had – I kept saying, ‘Electionitis, electionitis.’”
Hasselbeck said she felt sick while attending the inauguration earlier this month.
“I was tired, I was nauseous, I thought I was worn out from the whole procedure,” she went on. “No. I was knocked up and didn’t realize it.”
