Danes, Dancy Engaged

Claire Danes is engaged to her British boyfriend Hugh Dancy, it has been announced.
The pair met while filming 2007′s Evening in Newport, R.I., and had been dating for more than a year.
Dancy, 33, recently revealed what he looks for in his perfect girl: “Someone who’s intelligent, somebody who makes me laugh,” he said. “I know people always say a good sense of humor, but they’re usually lying. Somebody who kind of has an independent life and ambition.”
The couple recently stepped out at the Screen Actors Guild and Directors Guild awards in Los Angeles.
It is not yet known when the pair intend to tie the knot.
