Cyrus Headed to The White House

Miley Cyrus has been invited to the White House to screen her new film, Hannah Montana: The Movie, for first daughters Sasha and Malia Obama.

The Obama girls made the request “when I was doing the inauguration,” said Cyrus, who performed at the Kids’ Inaugural Concert Jan. 19. “They said they want me to come and show them my new movie. I would love it. I’m stoked!”

The Hannah Montana star said she was also thrilled to be at Sunday’s Grammys, where she performed the Taylor Swift tune “Fifteen” with the country singer.

“Taylor’s my date tonight!” Cyrus, 16, told Us Weekly magazine on the red carpet.

Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the OCA, an Asian-American equality group, has said that the teen star’s apology for a photo where she is seen slanting her eyes is not enough and he is demanding a “fuller apology”.

“I’ve also been told there are some people upset about some pictures taken of me with friends making goofy faces!” Miley explained on her website Thursday. “Well, I’m sorry if those people looked at those pics and took them wrong and out of context!”

George Wu, from OCA, responded to Cyrus’ statement, saying, “The picture is offensive and now this statement is inadequate. It’s not a real apology. We’re not backing down without a fuller apology.”
