Jennifer Hudson will embark on her first solo tour in early April.

The Grammy-winner will kick off a series of gigs with a performance in Philadelphia on April 2.

“I am so grateful – my first Grammy and my first tour. It doesn’t get better than that,” Hudson said.

The former American Idol contestant will be accompanied on tour by R&B singer Robin Thicke.

Hudson will play gigs in Washington, D.C, New York City, Detroit, Atlanta, Memphis, St. Louis, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Dallas, among other cities.

Jennifer, 27, made a critically acclaimed return to the limelight in recent weeks since the tragic slaying of her mother, brother and nephew last year.

At the beginning of February, she sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl.
