Janet Jackson hasn’t signed a deal with concert promoters Live Nation, despite reports to the contrary.
It was claimed Wednesday that the Nasty singer had inked a contract with the company – encompassing her album and concert plans – following her departure from Island Records in September.
But bosses at the company – which recently signed lucrative deals with with U2, Madonna, Nickelback and Shakira – have blasted the reports.
A spokesman for the concert promotion giants says, “Live Nation has not signed a deal with Janet Jackson, nor are we in discussions with the artist about a deal.”
