Amy Winehouse has been hospitalized in St Lucia.

The Rehab singer – who has been holidaying on the Caribbean island since early December – was rushed to the doctors after collapsing in a “shaking mess”.

The star, who has been staying at the luxury resort to battle her addiction to heroin and crack cocaine, had been drinking heavily, reports The Sun.

A source told the paper, “She looked in a terrible state, a shaking mess. The people with her were very concerned.”

A spokesman for Amy confirmed she was in hospital. He said she had run out of a drug replacement she has been using.

Amy was said to be recovering well and was expected to leave hospital shortly.
