Jennifer Hudson is “thrilled” to announce her first ever tour dates.

The former American Idol contestant will co-headline with R&B singer Robin Thicke for the six week US tour, starting in March, according to Us Weekly.

Last month saw Hudson, 27, make her first public appearance since the tragic deaths of her mother, brother and nephew last year, when she sung the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.

“I am so grateful”, said Hudson, who performed at this month’s Grammy Awards where she won a gong for best R&B album. “My first Grammy and my first tour – it doesn’t get any better than this!”
