Brad Pitt spent some quality time with his sons on Wednesday – with a boys-only trip to Las Vegas.

The actor, seven-year-old Maddox and five-year-old Pax were seen at Sin City’s Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, while mom Angelina Jolie was spotted shopping in New York with daughters Zahara, four, and Shiloh, two.

Jolie – who is due to start work on her new film Salt next month – began preparing for the movie looking at costumes and visiting a New York apartment building that will serve as a production location.

Brad, 45, and Angelina are expected at the Oscars on Sunday in Los Angeles, where they are nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress respectively.

It has been reported that Jennifer Aniston, Brad’s ex-wife, is due to attend the same pre-Oscars event as the couple. It will be the first time the three have had a public encounter since Brad split with Jen and settled down with Angie.
