Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie have both been busy preparing to come face to face with each other for the first time at tonight’s Academy Awards.
Aniston, 40, is due to present a gong; Jolie and Brad Pitt – Aniston’s ex-husband – are both up for awards.
To look her best, Jennifer – who is being escorted to the ceremony by boyfriend John Mayer – has whittled down her outfit choice to 15 dresses, from Burberry to Armani.
“Jen’s stylist doesn’t want her to wear her usual black as that’s Angelina’s favorite color,” a source tells the Daily Mail.
And Jolie – who will go up against Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married); Melissa Leo (Frozen River); Meryl Streep (Doubt); and Kate Winslet (The Reader) in the Best Actress category for her role in Clint Eastwood’s Changeling – has reportedly been driving New York’s jewelers “crazy” looking for a $20m diamond necklace to wear.
“She’s been driving all of the high-end jewelers of New York crazy,” a source told OK! magazine earlier this week.
“She’s looking for the impossible – a drop dead gorgeous $20 million diamond necklace to wear to the Oscars.
“She really wants it to be a show-stopper and is making sure that she is the one everyone has their eyes on this Sunday – and not Jennifer Aniston.”
