Robert Pattinson made his Oscars Debut at the prestigious ceremony Sunday.

The British actor – who shot to fame playing vampire Edward Cullen in the recent Twilight movie; a role he’ll reprise alongside Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in its sequel New Moon later this year – presented a montage of the year’s romantic films along side Mamma Mia! star Amanda Seyfried.

Before Pattinson, 22, arrived at the ceremony, he was seen grabbing something to eat at the Palihouse hotel in West Hollywood. He tried to go unrecognized by covering up with a red hoodie. “He was solo and reading a book,” a source told E! News.

The hunky star was also seen having fun on Saturday at the Night Before benefit for the Motion Picture & Television Fund at the Beverly Hills Hotel. “Everyone was wishing him good luck at the Oscars,” a fellow benefit-goer said.

And for those die hard Pattinson fans looking to get their fix of the star on the big screen before New Moon; he can soon be seen starring as Spanish painter Salvador Dali in the upcoming indie drama Little Ashes.
