Miley Cyrus left the Oscars Sunday felling a little disappointed – because she didn’t get to meet her idol, Angelina Jolie.

“I wanted to see Angelina, but I didn’t get to see her,” said the Hannah Montana actress, 16.

“She’s beautiful…she could, like, adopt me!” Cyrus told E!’s Ryan Seacrest.

Cyrus also revealed how she prepared herself for last night’s prestigious ceremony. (See the full list of Academy Award winners here)

“I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary to get ready,” said Miley, who was sporting an ivory silk chiffon beaded Zuhair Murad ball gown. “I just loved my dress!”

In her upcoming memoir, Miles to Go, Cyrus defends the “cuddly” relationship she has with her dad Billy Ray – insisting there is “nothing wrong” with the two being close.

“The media has said some stuff about my dad and me being too close and too cuddly for a father and a daughter,” she writes.

“For me and my dad it’s not weird at all.”
