Amy Winehouse is back in London.
The British singer – who had been on holiday in St Lucia since early December – touched down in the British capital this morning after a nine hour flight.
Sporting jeans, ballet shoes and her signature beehive and heavy eyeliner, Amy, 25, looked distressed and jetlagged as she arrived at Gatwick airport.
It is believed that Amy is back in the UK to patch up her marriage to husband Blake Fielder-Civil – who was recently released from prison.
However, Blake – who was jailed for 27 months last July for assaulting a pub landlord and attempting to pervert the course of justice – is reportedly planning to flee the UK and divorce the star.
“He’s turned a corner since he last saw Amy,” a source told British newspaper The Sun earlier this week. “His mum Georgette plans to sell up and get Blake to another country. They don’t want to squander all the hard work.”
Georgette Civil said Blake has been “hurt and humiliated” by Amy and claims she cheated on him twice during his spell behind bars.
“He feels very let down by his wife and he’s proceeding with a divorce,” she told British newspaper the Sunday People. “Amy has behaved like a trollop. Since his release there has been no contact.
“Blake realized the marriage was doomed some time ago and I don’t believe Amy will get round him now.
“I never want him to go back to her. It would be bad news. He’s divorcing her because she cheated on him and the sooner the marriage is over the better.”
