Michael Jackson was forced to undergo a 50-point health check to prove he is fit enough to make a comeback.

The Thriller singer – who is in London for a press conference Thursday, where he is rumored to be announcing a series of gigs at the British capital’s O2 Arena – was given a clean bill of health from doctors.

And more sensationally, the 50-year-old is taking over an entire advert break during ITV1′s Dancing on Ice on Sunday evening to show a montage of his best bits.

A source tells Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “Every physical test under the sun was done to ensure all bases were covered. They are confident his health is good enough to perform.”

Jackson is said to have rejected three lucrative offers before thrashing out the last-minute deal.

The source added, “The bosses were sweating he wouldn’t accept but he finally put pen to paper.”
