Amanda Seyfried can’t take a compliment.

The Mamma Mia star – who recently presented a montage of the year’s romantic films alongside Twilight star Robert Pattinson at the Academy Awards – says despite her blossoming career, she can’t handle people lavishing her with praise.

She explains, “I just can’t take a compliment. But I’m working on it.”

And modesty’s not the only thing the 23-year-old is working on.

She adds, “That and my posture. But it’s so difficult. I just have to remember to keep my boobs up.

“Girls don’t always do that – well I don’t but I guess we’ve got to show them off. It’s just a confidence thing.”
