Madonna is reportedly teaming up with fashion designer Christian Audigier to launch a “ridiculously trendy” line of clothing.

The pop superstar – who was recently named the worst-dressed celebrity by animal rights group PETA – in 2007 released her own range of affordable clothing – M by Madonna – with Swedish high street chain H&M.

And Madonna is set to conquer the world of fashion once again after Audigier – who is designing an outfit for Michael Jackson’s comeback tour – approached the singer after spotting her wearing designer-of-the-moment Ed Hardy’s tattoo-print clothes.

Madonna is already said to have visited Christian’s LA offices, and the pair is now finalizing the designs – which include tattoo-inspired T-shirts and diamante-encrusted bodices, according to British newspaper the Daily Mirror.
