Kelly Clarkson doesn’t want children.

Although the former American Idol contestant loves playing aunt to her siblings’ offspring, Clarkson is convinced she’d be a terrible mother.

She says, “I’m awesome at the aunt thing. I’ll hang out with my oldest; out of all my nieces and nephews, the nephew is the oldest, he’s seven. But I’m not really good with the whole baby thing. I don’t do the diaper thing.”

Clarkson, 26, recently revealed she was looking to fall in love.

“I’ve never been in love,” she said. “I want to be so badly – I’m a hopeless romantic, but I haven’t been there yet. I’d prefer to wait for the right one than settle for second best.”
