Ashley Jensen Quits Ugly Betty

Ashley Jensen has quit her role on Ugly Betty.
The Scottish actress – who plays Christina on the hit show – is set to play Jenna Elfman’s best friend in the US sitcom Accidentally on Purpose, in which the former Dharma & Greg star plays a movie critic who finds herself pregnant.
Ugly Betty producer Silvio Horta tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, “While we’re sad that Ashley will not be returning next season as a series regular, she is still a member of the Ugly Betty family.
“So don’t be surprised if you see Christina pop back up in Betty’s life.”
