Jason Statham says he can’t have a proper shave – because he has such “sensitive” skin.
The Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels star – a former Olympic high-board diver – has become well known for his hard image, which he enhances with some Desperate Dan style stubble.
But the British actor, 36, has revealed that his unkempt look has nothing to do with looking hard.
He says, “You see, I’ve got such sensitive skin that I can’t have a proper shave because I get a rash.
“I have to have one of those beard trimmers instead. I also try to compensate for the lack on top.
“Just grow a bit more facial hair – it sort of balances everything out!”
