Zac Efron Denies Engagement Rumors

Zac Efron has blasted rumors he’s engaged to girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens – insisting the couple had a “good laugh” at the reports.

It was claimed that the High School Musical star had proposed to Hudgen’s in a bid to please her mother, Gina. “Zac is relieved to be out of the pressure cooker, because Vanessa’s mom has been putting serious heat on him to make an honest woman of her daughter,” a source told the National Enquirer.

But Efron – who recently revealed his fans turn to him for support – is adamant he and Hudgen’s aren’t planning to walk down the aisle.

He says, “We’re not engaged. I’m pretty sure literally that came from The Enquirer.

“It’s pretty funny, we had a good laugh over it.”
