Robert Downey Jr. says his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes is “bad ass”.
The Tropic Thunder star insists he’s putting a new modern twist on the legendary detective in the upcoming Guy Ritchie-directed flick.
He says, “It’s pretty badass.
“1891 Victorian England was a petty gnarly place. Ours is a different Holmes but still respectful to the character.
“I think as much as anything, the reinvention is actually a return to the idiosyncrasies that Conan Doyle had in his books that people hadn’t really paid much attention to.”
