Lindsay Lohan has paid a touching to tribute to Natasha Richardson, who died Wednesday after a skiing accident. She was 45.
Lohan – then aged 11 – starred alongside Richardson in the 1998 film Parent Trap.
“She was a wonderful woman and actress and treated me like I was her own. I didn’t see much of her over the years but I will miss her. My heart goes out to her family. This is a tragic loss,” Lindsay told Access Hollywood.
Martha Stewart also commented about Richardson’s death. She wrote on her website, “Just heard the tragic news about poor Natasha Richardson. Her family must be devastated. My sincerest condolences to all.”
Richardson is survived by husband Liam Neeson and sons Michael, 13, and Daniel, 12.
