Mariah Carey could become Hugh Hefner’s new neighbor – she’s reportedly eying up a $12.5m pad next to the Playboy Mansion.

The Touch My Body hitmaker, 38, and her husband Nick Cannon have put an offer in for a mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, according to HollyScoop.

The five-acre, 15-bedroom residence comes with a library, two kitchens and a screening room with seats for 50 guests, it is reported.

The plush pad also has a staff quarters with room for 10 underlings.

“They like the home because there is so little that needs doing to it,” a source said.

Earlier this week it was reported that Carey and Cannon were keen to move away from New York in a bid to focus on their respective acting careers in Los Angeles.

“She wants to act more and she has to be on the West Coast to do that,” a source said. “And well, then, he’s got his . . . career. Whatever that is.”
