Paul McCartney is building a new summer home in the Hamptons, New York.

The former Beatle is said to be splashing out $200,000 to build the three-bedroom, two-bath home on his Amagansett compound that will likely be used as guest quarters.

McCartney, 66, and girlfriend Nancy Shevell toured the grounds for almost an hour last Sunday to get a close-up look at how it’s coming along, according to New York Post‘s gossip column Page Six.

Meanwhile, Paul was left red-faced earlier this week after he was caught with his flies down upon arriving late for a charity benefit in New York.
