Hugh Jackman says he’s “heartbroken” that his new film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, was leaked online last week — a whole month before its official release.

An incomplete print of the action flick, which is not scheduled for release in the U.S. until May 1, was stolen last Tuesday night and posted illegally on several file-sharing websites.

And Jackman admits he’s saddened about the leak — but is adamant fans will flock to theaters to see the finished film.

He says, “It’s a serious crime and there’s no doubt it’s very disappointing — I was heartbroken by it.

“Obviously people are seeing an unfinished film. It’s like a Ferrari without a paint job.”
