Paris Hilton got camera shy at a recent party at London’s Mahiki nightclub — she locked herself in the ladies toilet for about 20 minutes to avoid the paparazzi.
“I didn’t expect this much attention, I just came to show my support for Guy’s charity,” she said, according to Daily Mail columnist Nathan Kay.
Paris, 28, and her beau, Doug, shared a table at the event with Kelly Osbourne and her fiance Luke Worrall.
“When Paris was entering the club there were so many cameras, she wasn’t expecting it and it upset her,” a source said. “One camera smacked her in the face and she just needed a bit of time to compose herself.”
Hilton’s rep said of the incident, “Paris is over for two days just to spend some time with Dougie, she’s not doing any work and keeping a low profile.”
