Jude Law says his role as Watson in Guy Ritchie‘s Sherlock Holmes movie is helping him rediscover his past.

The British hunk has revealed that starring alongside Robert Downey Junior‘s Holmes brought the memories flooding back of his big break as an actor.

“My first job was playing a stable hand to Jeremy Brett who played Sherlock Holmes on British television through the ’80s and ’90s,” Law said. “The joy with this role has been going back and really rediscovering a little of that time.

“It’s exciting to be part of something so loved and established and so close to my own heart.”
