Simon Cowell is more than a little shocked by the internet’s reaction to Britain’s Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle.

“I’ve never felt anything like it in my life,” Cowell said of Boyle’s performance.

Boyle, 47, last week stunned judges — including Cowell and Piers Morgan — when she performed I Dreamed a Dream on the British TV talent show.

Although the audience initially had low expectations of Boyle, she received a standing ovation when she finished her stirring rendition.

The judges then judges voted her through unanimously.

“Susan, I knew the minute you walked out on that stage that we were gonna hear something extraordinary and I was right,” said Cowell — who had rolled his eyes at her earlier. “Susan, you are a tiger aren’t you?”

Boyle’s performance has since been viewed over 13 million times on YouTube.
