Zac Efron: ‘I Want to be Matt Damon’

Zac EfronZac Efron wants to be like Matt Damon.

The actor — who currently has the number one film with 17 Again — admires the Bourne Ultimatum star’s career.

“I most admire Matt Damon and Michael J Fox,” Efron said. “I just saw Rounders and it just reminds me. Matt Damon is someone who I want to be.”

“I just want to make his smart choices,” he added.

And what was Zac like at school? “When I was 17, I was not the coolest kid in school but I wasn’t a total pariah,” he recalls.

“I fell somewhere in between.

“I wore goofy hats to school and did musical theatre.

“Most people thought I was a total weirdo.

“As long as you have a sense of humour about it, no-one can bring you down.”

    He wants to be like Matt damon? His GF, Vanessa, actually has a crush on Matt! And somehow he likes him. And Michael J fox. Zac is more like him, cuz they started off their career on the small screen, and became famous on the big screen cuz of their first starting point. And in my opinion, Zac kinda looks like the 80′s version of Michael j fox.
