Simon Cowell “Thrilled” For Susan Boyle

Simon Cowell is “thrilled to bits” at the success of Britain’s Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle.
“She was sitting home a few weeks ago, all alone with her cat, and no one’s ever heard of her, apart from six people,” Simon said.
“And now you’ve got 150 million people daily talking about her in America, and people camped outside her house… That’s incredible, it’s just the most wonderful story.”
Boyle, 47, earlier this month stunned judges — including Cowell and Piers Morgan — when she performed I Dreamed a Dream on BGT.
Although the audience initially had low expectations of Boyle, she received a standing ovation when she finished her stirring rendition. The performance has had tens of millions views on You Tube.
“It’s one of the best pieces of TV I’ve ever seen in my life,” Simon added. “And that’s why I love making these shows — something completely unexpected, something you couldn’t predict. You can’t plan for it. I’m thrilled to bits for her.”
