Britney Spears Supports Gay Marriage

Following on from the controversy surrounding Miss California‘s remarks against gay marriage, Britney Spears has spoken out in support of same sex unions.

“Love is love!” the Toxic singer wrote on her Twitter account Tuesday. “People should be able to do whatever makes them happy!”

Shortly after her comments, Britney — who’s currently in the middle of her Circus world tour — had a BBQ with her two young sons.  “Just finished a barbecue with my boys and the rest of my family,” Spears wrote. “Hanging by the pool. It’s Hot! 100 degrees in LA!”

Oh, to be Britney!
