Lindsay Lohan has found an unlikely ally in her quest to re-build her shattered career — Ugly Betty star America Ferrera.

The pair were said to be at each other’s throats last year when Lohan had a cameo on Ferrera’s hit US TV show.

But the ladies have now cast aside their differences — and America is now helping Lindsay to find work and sort out her image.

“After hearing about Lindsay’s latest woes, America decided to put the past aside and see if she could help,” the source said.
