Robert Pattinson Reveals Why he Took up Acting

Robert PattinsonRobert Pattinson has revealed why he became an actor — to pick up women.

The British star — who shot to fame as vampire Edward Cullen in the smash hit Twilight movie franchise — says his dad told him being in showbiz would help him become a hit with the ladies.

“My dad saw a bunch of pretty girls who were going to [London's Barnes Theatre Company]. He said: ‘Hey Rob, you’ve got to go to that.’ That’s the reason I still do it!”

Pattinson, 22, recently revealed he feels pressure to please his fans.

“You see all these people and you think in one way or another that you have to please them… I’m not entirely sure still how to go about pleasing people,” he said.

    Rob will always appeal to me – why others apparently weren’t open to him, I’ll never know. I think he tries to separate himself from people with the hair thing – and I know he smells great. I think his great love is waiting for him – to get just a little older and for the Twilight stuff to die down in a year or two – As tough as guys want to be, they hurt too when rejected. Now he just has to sift through all the women who want him (just to say they had him) – for her – I promise Rob, she’s out there! – and I hope he can someday escape his bubble and meet her!

    I dont think that its not that he cant find the right girl, its just when you become famous you become picky when it comes to the perfect girl. Like she has to be skinny, certain color of hair body perfect and of course a star. I think he needs to go outside the fame just like any other ordinary person and give someone a chance as if he were never famous at all. Then you will find the perfect girl.
