Chris Brown’s Lawyer Wants Assault Case Dismissed

Chris BrownChris Brown‘s lawyer wants the Rihanna assault case against his client dismissed because of leaks in the case.

“Leaks can form the basis for a motion to dismiss the case in regard to outrageous governmental misconduct,” Mark Geragos told TMZ.

Brown, 19, appeared in court on April 6 for an arraignment hearing regarding his two felony accounts — assault and making criminal threats — stemming from his alleged beating of of the Umbrella singer.

If convicted of the charges, the Run It hitmaker faces probation to a maximum four years and eight months in state prison, prosecutors say.
