Michael Douglas’ Kids Keep Him Active

Michael Douglas has revealed what’s keeping him on his toes at 64 — his kids.
The actor — who is gearing up to reprise his role as Gekko in new movie Wall Street 2 — says he never planned to have a young family in later life but he is very glad he and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones did, because his children — Dylan, eight, and six-year-old Carys — are keeping him active.
“I’m fortunate to have a new family with Catherine and they keep me young,” says Douglas. “So life is good. Between working and having a family my priorities have changed. I enjoy hanging out with the kids, get up early and away we go. They keep me up and at ‘em.”
The Hollywood legend recently revealed how his 39-year-old wife nursed him through a knee operation.
“It’s one of those tests, you find out a little about your lover, what she’s like. And she was fantastic,” he dished.
“I could not get her into the nurse’s uniform, though.
“I did try. I couldn’t do it.”
