Amy Winehouse has been confiding in a Rastafarian horse riding coach while on holiday in St Lucia.
The Rehab hitmaker has apparently been discussing her marriage breakdown with pal Fidel Missore, who arranges riding tours for holidaymakers on the Caribbean island.
“Fidel has been a shoulder to cry on for Amy,” a source tells British newspaper The Sun. “She has told him she still loves Blake and wants to get back with him.
“She cried her eyes out as she told him Blake had filed for divorce and may have got another girl pregnant. Fidel comforted her, hugging her and making jokes to try and make her smile.
“Whenever she sees Fidel, she can’t stop smiling. He is a fantastic, calming influence on her. They have become really close since Amy returned to St Lucia — and I’m sure he is one of the big reasons why she has decided to move there permanently.”
“They had quite an emotional embrace,” the insider added. “Amy was very tearful as she spoke about Blake, but she laughed and thanked him for taking her riding. She’s been out on the horse quite a lot with him now.
“He walks her down to the beach and you can even take the horses into the water. Amy has been going a lot – she must find it quite therapeutic.
“Fidel could not be more different from Blake. Amy feels calm and relaxed when she’s with him. They have become very good friends.”
