Robert Pattinson Gets Paranoid

Robert PattinsonRobert Pattinson gets paranoid when he walks down the street — in case he gets mobbed by a group of teenage girls.

The Twilight hunk, 22, admits he’s still coming to terms with his new-found fame.

“The attention I get now is mind-bending,” he said. “You do tend to get a little bit paranoid when you’re walking down the street and looking around, just in case you’re getting mobbed by teenage girls.”

Speaking to Life & Style magazine, Robert recalls his childhood with his older sisters — Victoria, 28, and Lizzy, 25.

“They used to dress me up as a girl and introduce me as Claudia,” he recalls.

Pattinson’s aunt, Diana Nutley, added that the actor is “gobsmacked by all the attention he’s getting.

“He’s very cool about it all, but he can’t believe it either.”

    I feel for the guy- it would be tiring being mobbed everywhere you go. To not have privacy, to have everything that you say taken out of context, to not be able to go buy one darn thing with privacy- that would be a burden. There are many amazing things that come with fame I’m sure, but this wouldn’t be one of them. I hope that through it all he will stay real.

    Robert Pattinson is a brilliant and talented actor and musician! He puts so much time and effort into perfecting a character that he makes it believable. Of course, there’s a price that comes with fame, but give the guy some air to breathe, he’s only human, in fact, a very shy human. His fans of twilight need to look into other work that Rob has done and I don’t mean Harry Potter. Take a look at his performance in The Haunted Airman, The Bad Mother’s Handbook, Ring of Nebelung, How to Be and especially go see Little Ashes. I can’t emphasize enough how brilliant an actor he is, he grabs me with his words, makes me sympathize with his characters. There aren’t many actors who put that much dedication in a role, worried about getting it right, to please the audience. I’m a huge fan, but I wouldn’t go screaming after him, that just shows lack of respect. A true fan shows respect for the person they admire. He’s not getting much respect lately.
