Miley Cyrus wants to dump her hunky boyfriend Justin Gaston — but her dad, Billy Ray, wants them to stay together.
The Hannah Montana star has reportedly told pals that Gaston, 20, is “cramping her lifestyle”.
“Miley thinks her career is at a tipping point, where she’s transitioning from kid stuff to more mature movies and music, and she doesn’t want to be tied down with Justin,” an insider told the National Enquirer magazine.
“She has a nagging feeling that Justin is trying to ride her coattails to success and she resents that.
“It’s finally dawning on her that she’s young, rich and famous — and she can have any guy she’s interested in.
“Billy Ray has told Miley she’s behaving immaturely and that she’ll regret dumping Justin.”
Justin, said the source, has been “spending more nights at his apartment. He and Miley are definitely growing apart.”
It was previously claimed that Miley, 16, was keen to rekindle her romance with ex-beau Nick Jonas.
