Amy Winehouse has been forced ditch her freeloading pals as she prepares to stage her musical comeback.
The singer’s father, Mitch, apparently accused his daughter’s friend, Violetta Thalia, of indulging in all-day drinking sessions at Amy’s expense.
So he has barred Amy — who is currently on holiday in St Lucia — from seeing anyone who will hinder her chances of getting her career back on track.
“Amy performs for the first time in ages at the St Lucia Jazz Festival this week. Mitch knows she has to get it right,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.
“He doesn’t want Amy to be lonely but he doesn’t see why she should pay for mates to have a good time.”
Amy, 25, was recently hospitalized due to dehydration.
