Susan Boyle will be appearing on Oprah Winfrey‘s US TV chat show Monday — but don’t expect her to sing.

Britain’s Got Talent supremo Simon Cowell has apparently banned Boyle, who shot to fame on the TV talent show, from showing off the voice that made her a star.

Britain’s Daily Mirror reports:

Shy Susan, 48, will take centre stage on Mondays special episode of Oprah, called The Worlds Got Talent.

But she has been banned from singing by Simon Cowell and BGT bosses, who want to save her for her semi-final appearance on the show.
They are also concerned the Scots rivals might think it will give her an unfair advantage.

Up to 10 million viewers are expected to tune in to the show in the US, where Susan has millions of adoring fans.

It will feature acts from some of the 40 countries where the show is filmed, including the runners up from last years BGT, Signature.

And Simon Cowell will also be grilled by Oprah about the shows global appeal. A source said: Simon wont be able to keep a smile from his face as the show just seems to be getting bigger and better.
