Hugh Jackman: ‘Playing Wolverine Was Good Therapy’

Hugh Jackman used his role in new movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine as a giant stress ball.
The Aussie actor says he always felt relaxed after finishing a day’s filming as Wolverine because he was able to let out all his anger while onset.
“Playing Wolverine is great therapy, really,” he says. “You get to exorcise a lot of your demons, and then go home feeling very, very relaxed and happy.”
Jackman, 40, recently revealed that he was un-fazed by his fame because it’s all part of being a a successful actor.
“It takes a little bit of adjusting to,” he said. “But I grew up in a really big, fairly chaotic household, if there’s a lot of chaos going on and if I’m the center of attention, it’s okay for me, I can cope with it.
“I see [fame] for what it is, I know it will go at some point and I also know that it’s not really who I am and it’s also part of the job.”
