Angelina Jolie ‘Looking a Mess’ on Movie Set

Angelina Jolie has been a total “mess” on the New York set of her new movie Salt, according to reports.

The actress is said to be furious that her partner, Brad Pitt, has been speaking with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.

“She came out of her trailer looking like she’d been crying,” an insider told British magazine Now. “She had red eyes with big bags under them. She’d stopped going back to the family’s rental home [in Long Island] and was sleeping at a hotel in town.

“She never brought her kids or Brad to the set, even though her co-stars did. There’s even talk that she’s been taking caffeine tablets as she’s in such a bad way. Angie has been in some pretty dark places in her life, and now it’s as bad as it’s ever been.”

Insiders recently expressed their fears that Jolie might be self-harming again.

“It’s been so bad that some crew members have suspected she’s using drugs, although that’s out of the question. But the ones who know her realize it could be something much, much worse if she’s self-harming,” a source said.

“When she’s at home she just about holds it together, but she stays up listening to the same song over and over and rarely sleeps.”

    every pix I’v seen of her on set she looks happy to be making a movie and every report from people who have actually worked with her say she’s great. it’s such shame that someone out there is trying to tear this woman down. Just do a google search to see some of the more hurtful rumors floating around. All because Brad Pitt chased her like a bat out of hell. She should’ve ran from him and never stopped.

    A friend of mine’s mom knows people who have worked with her, and they all say she is absolutely insane. Wonder how long before her children are taken from her? I knew she’d finally crumble under the pressure of so many adopted children. She’s an obsessive person. Kids being her most recent obsession. Her need for all these children stems from a mental disorder. It’s not normal. Much like a person who collects animals. It’s a very sad situation. I feel sorry for her, Brad and especially those kids.

    this story sounds like total bull____. If she’s staying at a hotel in NY where are the pictures? We get daily shots of aniston leaving her hotel. If she looks like a mess, again, where are the pictures? Fact is they don’t have a publicist to refute these horrible stories. Alleging an affair with her dead mother’s boyfriend 2 days before mother’s day? this isn’t gossip, it’s character assasination.

    Likely diagnosis for Ang: borderline personality disorder. Brad is just clueless for being taken in by what should have been a fairly obvious condition (see comment by Bee). Key characteristic: constant upheaval. Borderlines seek chaos, and do best in “survival mode.” When routine or normalcy start to set in they freak. They also freak when they fear-with or without reason–they will be left. And they always fear this, but they also are frequently the person who leaves.     She’s not staying at a hotel and everyone knows that. The only hotel she stayed at was in Albany two weekends ago where Pitt joined her. The damn story was told by the Mayor of Albany to his local paper. All pictures of Angelina filming and lord knows there are tons of them show her happy and enjoying her work. Tabloids and pap sites are just pissed off that they’re in Long Island and not at a hotel in the city. They were hoping to make big bucks off of them and they didn’t. So, it’s bring out the venom. It’s the most bizarre thing. Brad and Angelina aren’t photgraphed 24/7 then it some sort of dysfunctional situation. When they are photographed then they’re fame whores.

    I just feel so sorry for those kids. Six kids in 4 years – three of them adopted. They all NEED a stable home and for their parents to be there for them right now. If the woman had anything resembling a heart at all she’d stay home with them for at least a year, to bond with them and help them assimilate and adapt to one another. But no, she’s off working long days doing dangerous stunts, and negotiating her next movie role, leaving the actual work of raising the kids to someone, anyone, else. I really wonder what’s going to happen in a few years when those kids stop being cute little cherubs and start talking back. And which one of them will write the first book.

What Crow said was that people get it wrong; that she [Crow] and Aniston were never dumped. Lance Armstrong didn’t dumped Crow [it was said by Crow shortly after her break-up with Armstrong] and that Brad Pitt didn’t dump Aniston. According to Crow, Aniston took a long hard look at her marriage with Pitt and decided they didn’t share the same future view about family and that was why Aniston decided to leave. Angelina did not steal Brad from Jennifer. It was a situation that both people fell and love and unfortunately, one got hurt. Brad had made a decision and it was his choice to leave Jennifer; he did not have to stay with Angelina, but he did. Sure no one forced him into. Angelina gave him a family he has been craving for. That poor woman has given birth to twins and it such an early days to be going back to work. She is definitely suffering from post-natal depression.     This story is not true. Angelina told the mayor last week that Brad and she spent Saturday night in her hotel room watching a wrestling match that was being aired from Las Vegas. Pitt is not going to risk losing his children. Another thing, they were spotted out shopping just recently, and the other shoppers said they were HAPPY!! Sheryl Crow only knows what she was told by Aniston…it doesn’t meant that what Aniston told her was even remotely true! Pitt wanted children, and at the time, Aniston did not. She lied to save face with her friends…that is pretty obvious. She is not the first person to say she was the dumper, when it was the other way around, and it won’t be the last!

    Just a little reminder to you guys, Angie had a life before Brad (and will still have one after Brad). She already had kids and did not need to get pregnant with Brad’s child to get him. It is bad that some people see her adopting kids as a hobby. It is so degrading, and it gives a negative theme to a person that just wants to make a difference in this world. Can you honestly say that her adopted children are better off staying where they were before they got adopted? Have you guys ever been to places like these? Or you were just sitting in your nice little cozy place with nothing else to do but criticize someone who actually did something for a change? Would you do that? Will you actually go and help a child like that or are you going to just “boo hoo” yourself, being the hypocrite that you are? I betcha you won’t even open up your place as a foster home or provide temporary shelter for a homeless kid. Enough said…..

    Beaner is on the button. Why is the woman always called a ‘home-wrecker’ in these situations, whereas in truth, it takes two to tango? If Brad was a faithful man who had no interest in other women and was 100% devoted and attracted to Jennifer Aniston, Angelina would never have been able to pry him away no matter how deep she sunk her claws in. Clearly, they were attracted to each other, and if anything, Brad committed the biggest sin by cheating on Jen in the first place. Yes, Angelina played a part, but it’s only equally as bad if not minute compared to Brad’s role in the JA/BP split.

    I don’t understand how people can harbour so much hate towards a woman who goes out of her way to help others in need. She doesn’t just give money – she plays an active role. So she just because she’s famous means that she can’t be doing humanitarian work because she genuinely wants to? It has to be because she wants fame and recognition? She already HAS that. Even if she were doing it for the publicity, at least she’s doing it. I don’t know of a single celebrity other than her that goes abroad to actually do field-work – they just give money.

    Those environments are harsh, cruel and depressing – I seriously doubt ANYBODY would go all the way to Sub-Saharan Africa to do aid work in the name of publicity. You have to really want to to be able to endure those kinds of conditions. As someone who has suspected BPD, it is also very common for sufferers to feel a high level of empathy – a level regular people will never be able to feel.
