Simon Cowell Roots For Adam Lambert

Simon CowellSimon Cowell has revealed who he’s rooting for to win the current season of American Idol — Adam Lambert.

“I would have to put my money on Adam right now,” the music mogul told Oprah Winfrey on the Monday edition of her talk show.

“I think he’s got that ‘it’. I think he’s fearless and I think he’s unique. And he’s got swagger.”

Lambert will take on Kris Allen and Danny Gokey in the show’s semi-finals on Tuesday night.

Cowell, 49, also discussed his surprise that Idol had become such a long running success in the States, regularly topping the ratings.

“If someone had said to me nine [seasons] ago we were going to have this conversation now, I’d say it would never happen in a million years,” he said.

    Adam is AMAZING@! He is so talented and has entertained us all season. He has earned the Idol crown. Vote Adam@!

    I am also proud of Adam because I work for the VA and while Adam was home he went to Miramar to sing for the troops and their families. He also visited the kids at his high school drama and signing departments and went back to the performing arts center where he started performing. He is truly the most talented and should win American Idol Vote Adam!

    Love Simon for saying what he said on Oprah. But predictions need votes.

    So to all Adam fans — even if Simon says this, we should still vote vote vote for Adam. We can’t leave matters to chance. See what happened 2 weeks ago when he landed on the bottom 3. Would you want a repeat of that? I surely wouldn’t want to. I CRIED when that happened and promised myself never again. Adam is the best talent in AI and he deserves our love and support. Please, please no split voting this time. Convince friend and family members to vote for him. This guy is the real deal. There are people undermining his ability as an artist, please don’t let them win. We should just vote for Adam and prove them wrong!! I just love my weekly dose of AI. Again – VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!
