Lily Allen refuses to use public transport — because she’s fed up with being hassled.

The British singer says she used to use the London Underground, but was left shaken by one particular incident — so she now has her own driver.

“Last time I went on the Underground was New Year’s Eve a year or two ago,” says the It’s Not Fair songstress. “I’m a bit haunted by it now because I was trying to get into the center of town to see my boyfriend and I was on my own.

“People started shouting and singing Smile at me and I was in tears: ‘Just leave me alone!’ And people were like, ‘What the f**k are you doing on the Tube?’

“I thought, ‘You know what, I’m not gonna get on the Tube for a while.’”
