Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt ‘Fight Over Cannes’
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have come to blows yet again — over whether the actress should appear on the red carpet with him at Cannes, a report claims.
Pitt is keen to have Jolie on his arm at the festival while he promotes his new movie, Inglourious Basterds, but the Changeling star doesn’t wish to go.
“Angelina does not want to go,” a source told Ian Undercover. “Brad told her if she does not go to Cannes it will cause him huge problems and will outshine the promo for his new Quentin Tarantino film.
“He threatened to do everything in his power to ruin her if she does not cooperate.”
It has previously been reported that Pitt and Jolie are heading for a $250m split.
“Brad and Angelina have been leading increasingly separate lives, and Brad has had enough of being a full-time dad,” maintained an insider. “He’s visited Angelina only once on the New York set of her latest movie, and he genuinely feels they no longer have the equal relationship they once did.”

Pitt may not have been crying to his ex-wife that he messed up his life, but he did just the same. He’s tied to the crazy slut he knocked up at work forever. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will make their grand return to the Cannes Film Festival in France this week. Last year, Angie made a huge splash heavily pregnant with twins Vivienne and Knox. And, she had two films to promote, the animated “Kung Fu Panda” and “The Changeling.”
This year her schedule won’t be quite as heavy. But Brad will be working to promote the new Quentin Tarantino film “Inglorious Basterds.” Brad stars in the World War II movie, one of 20 competing for the coveted Palme d’Or for best picture.
Last year, the Jolie-Pitt crew stayed with Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen at his luxurious villa in Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat on the French Riviera.
No word yet on where they will be staying this year, but they are sure to have the twins, Maddox, 7,Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, and Shiloh, almost 3, in tow.
Brad is expected to arrive first, and Jolie will take some time off from filming “Salt” to join him May 20, according to People.com. It will be the third time the couple has jetted in for the film fete.

Oh sure, they’ll show up at Cannes and snuggle and grin for the cameras. It’s the part of the job called promoting the movie. He has no choice and neither does she, really, unless she’s ready to announce the separation, and I really doubt that. They’ll hang on for a while yet, for the sake of their reputations, until one of them gets caught cheating and things blow up.

I find it really hard people buying into these Brangelina stories, 90% of stories about them have turned out wrong. They’ve been breaking up since 2005, the twins are not even 7 months and yet Angelina is supposedly pregnant again! Brad is apparently meeting up with his ex-wife to moan about messing up his lilfe!! Yeah! A newly acquired status of being a respected actor (which he never had with Jennifer), another Oscar nomination, acclaimed movies, 6 beautiful children, family & Angelina Jolie, one-half of the most powerful couple in the world and most importantly becoming a Philanthropist (not just a donor). If this is messing up a life, God help the rest of us. Brad Pitt’s never had it so good until Angelina Jolie came into his life, whether people like it or not. He’s been blessed. What did he achieve with Jennifer Aniston apart from ‘golden couple’ status? Don’t people realise there is a recession on and Brangelina stories (especially bad ones) sell copies like mad. These mags and bloggers are desperate. Nothing would save their necks better than a Brangelina breakup. Some of these stories are so defamatory I don’t know how they get away with it.

At first, i did, i thought it too. But I saw a photo were Jennifer and Brad were wearing the same necklace, and that means that they had contact(not physical) and, as far as i know, Angelina told him NOT have any contact with Jennifer. They did break up, and if Angelina goes to Cannes, it’s just for clean her image…

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been spotted together for the first time in three months, at the Cannes Film Festival.
The couple dined at the Michelangelo restaurant in Antibe last night with the cast and crew of Brad’s latest film, the Quentin Tarantino directed Inglourious Basterds, which is due to premiere at the festival.
Brad arrived in France earlier in the week but Ange only flew in yesterday after spending a day at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
They did NOT break up as one poster inanely insists. As for pictures taken of them, well, there are about FIVE pictures taken of them kissing and hugging when they thought they were in a secluded spot with no one looking. Radarpop.com (not sure if I have that right) has the pictures. Also, a waiter at the restaurant they ate at said Brad had his hand on Angelina’s leg and that they appeared really happy. Angelina did NOT twist Brad Pitt’s arm to get him to be with her instead of boring Aniston.
