Cynthia Nixon Wants to Wed in New York

Cynthia Nixon has revealed where she’s planning to tie the knot — New York.
“We’re hoping to do it in New York. We’re not going to wait forever, but we’re hoping it’s just around the corner,” said the Sex and The City actress, who recently annouced her engagement to girlfriend Christine Marinoni.
“Sometime I think before the end of next summer, but we don’t have a date.”
And the jewelry? “There is a ring. There’s a beautiful ring,” Cynthia added. “Christine will have a wedding ring but she does not want an engagement ring.”
Cynthia began dating Christine in 2003 after splitting with husband Danny Mozes, with whom she has two children, Samantha and Charles.
“I think we would definitely [get married] if it became legal in New York,” Nixon said in an interview last year. “I don’t really want to get married to get married pretend. I think we’d like to do it in a real, actual, legal way that the state would recognize.”
